2. Information We Collect

To keep our platform secure and maintain authentic reviews, we require users to sign in. We do not use passwords; instead, we use Better Auth paired with Google OAuth. When you log in, Google shares the following data with us:

• Your public display name
• Your verified email address
• Your profile avatar image link

3. How Your Data Is Stored & Processed

All application state, user accounts, and review profiles are saved and computed securely using our backend infrastructure on Convex cloud servers. Your personal information is encrypted at rest and is never sold, leased, or rented to external marketing corporations.

4. Cookies and Session Tokens

Better Auth utilizes small text files called cookies or localized browser tokens to keep you securely signed in to CourseTea across browsing sessions. Disabling cookies inside your browser settings will break your active session tracking and prevent you from publishing academic evaluations.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We preserve user data as long as your evaluation profile is open. If you wish to revoke access or request complete erasure of your reviews and authentication data from our Convex database, please contact our support desk directly.
